A Sailor at Heart is an autobiography of Gerry Wright
This book was written for my extended family in celebration of my 80th birthday.
Some sections were easily written by copying from the books that I have written on the subject. It was an interesting exercise that brought back many pleasant memories and a few others to. The hardest part was which part of my life to include to fit within the manuscript limits that I had set. So I've missed many stories in the book but I had to make choices when writing about the past 80 years. I must say though, I've enjoyed them and you were each part of the story.
"To approach the good days you have to have an odd bad one.
But let's hope it isn't today."
